He's still not "making" money on that flatcar, the way you'd think of making money at a job. There are many, many hours into that flatcar. I think his is a case of being the best (or at least, among the very best) at something being a kind of payment in itself. Still, that's a healthy chunk of change for that model. And judging by the photos it truly is a fantastic model.
