Has anyone done any business with Historic Rail of Minneysota?

I received a catalog (thanks to multi-sold mailing lists) last week and it has some interesting vehicles in it. :)

Thanks

Historic Rail is a drop ship operation that rarely has what they advertise in stock. They are slow to deliver, sometimes never deliver, and their prices are high. I'd check ModelTrainStuff, Hobbylinc, and MicroMark to see what they have first.

I get there catalogs in the mail quite often, and they usually just end up being dropped in the recycle bin right below where i go through the mail. As Jim said, there prices are high. And i can get most of the HO and N stuff from Walthers....

Hill,

I have had good luck (so far, knock on wood ) with them. I ordered their Dash 9 Up and recived it with in a few days. But Jim is right some of their prices are a tad high and you can usually find the same stuff cheaper on MTS.
