Who is the best source for mail/internet order for model railroad electrical supplies?* Especially looking for wire & connectors.* TIA* Bob

What kind of wires and cennectors exactly? Sometimes the cheapest place for things like this is Walmart since there's nothing special about 12 gauge wires and connectors.

Try www.digikey.com or www.mouser.com .Both companies offer a large variety of wiring and connectors, as well as led's, resistors, terminal strips, panel switchs and other stuff that runs on smoke. (Ever notice, when the smoke escapes, stuff stops working? See I told you electricity is a joke, the stuff runs on smoke!)
Compare prices between the 2. I've found Mouser to be a bit cheaper on a few occasions.

Some stuff can be had for good prices online, leds, connectors and smaller stuff.
Keep in mind: wire is HEAVY, so shipping charges might be a little high. Factor that in to compare buying wire locally.

For most stuff, Digikey or Mouser are good places. I've bought speakers from Mouser twice. Same ones you get from the DCC suppliers, at half the price.

Mail Order Electrical Supplies

Sorry for the long delay in thanking you guys for the info. I've got more hobbies then I need and can afford. The wiring/connectors would be for a
small 9x5 foot layout I'm gon'na build using a bunch of Atlas true-track I've
got. Regular DC with maybe 7 or 8 blocks and two cabs. Atlas selectors/controllers will be my power routers. I'm thinking 22 gauge wire
would be O'Kay but what type, stranded? How many strands, etc.? And then just standard type spade connectors I guess? Would 22 gauge be to small? Any other helpful advice will be apreciated.
