  • Hello,

Thanks for reply. I got a QSI Universal formatted decoder for a P42/AMD103. I chose the wrong sound file, 441, when I shouldve chosen 442. I want the K5LA horn. 2 weeks ago when I ordered, the QSI website only listed the Leslie5horn as the horn showing of the three sound programs available which was under 441. I ordered that one thinking that was it. Wrong, shouldve asked Tony's and gotten 442. I am going to call Monday to see if theyll let me return it and let them reprogram it to 442 for me. If not, Ill keep it for another suitable loco and buy the 442 replacement or buy the Quantum Programmer and re-format it myself. I think Tony's will help me since, although it's completely my mistake, Im not really satisfied with my purchase.
I dont know how many more after market QSIs Ill be purchasing. I really like Atlas locos, and will prob pick up a GP40 with QSI sound installed. I hear great things about Tsunami and am looking forward to trying one out.
