Looks like they are closing the store. Is Bowser itself closing or just a store?
What is your modeling era?I have always heard great things about Bowser locomotives. I don't own any as they haven't made much to fit my era that isn't long sold out.
Bowser will be closing their physical store at the end of the year, and like a lot of companies, moving it all onlineIs Bowser itself closing or just a store?
Have to admit, this was the first one I've bought and I love it, now I'm looking for at least 2 or 3 more, but in the UK weirdly they all seem to be Alco 630M'sWhat is your modeling era?
Modern present day. What is your modeling era?
I was there several weekends ago not knowing about their intentions. The entrance hall had extensive shelves with custom painted models representing area railroads. Especially interesting were many diesels which you can see in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area, pretty cool stuff. I'm a steam era guy and most of my items are either second hand, or junk that needs to be put back together picked up at train shows.Modern present day.
I know they have made a few things that I could have used but have sold out of.
I believe I read somewhere that they are tied to Toy Train Heaven, either partial, or owners of that retailer. I'm thinking that will be their storefront.Bowser will be closing their physical store at the end of the year, and like a lot of companies, moving it all online
That is awesome. I'm a sucker for Milwaukee electrification...well any North American electrification, but Milwaukee was one of the most interesting operations. The first tunnel out of Avery on what was the Rocky Mountain electric divisionCheck a HUGE box off my "want list". I scored this pair of Nickel Plate brass MILW Boxcab electrics off BrassTrains for $450. Normally I only find these at stupidly high prices.
They need work, and that's fine. I think I'm up to the task.

Very nice!!Cannot look a gift horse in the mouth, my buddy is selling is house and just dropped off a couple engines that he thought will look good on my layout. He is the same friend that built my tunnel portals. Two engines that I have never seen before, very nice!

Thanks. That 6043 could pass for a Canadian engine if you rebuild the upper tender walls to slope instead of curving down. Here you go, I thought I already had this one but don’t, here are pics of the one I had and the new one, needs a cleaning but operational.
