I think the black loco with red, blue and white accents looks great. Much more "classy" than the silver. But thats just me.

Being a fan of the Santa Fe, Burlington, and Rock Island - stainless steel silver got rather boring after a while. Hard to beat shiny tuxedo black for a class act. Too bad PC couldn't keep theirs shiny.I think the black loco with red, blue and white accents looks great. Much more "classy" than the silver. But thats just me.

Looks great. What paint line (brand) will you be spraying? Have funKinda RR related, my replacement compressor arrived, and the airbrush has it's own snazzy box, can't wait to try them out.

Also got a Super Elevation kit for the Industrial end of the layout, not sure it will work, but I can only try.
I use Vellejo I should try other brand like Tamiya, but for my present needs it does the job.Looks great. What paint line (brand) will you be spraying? Have fun
Alco, I'm really going to have to move to the US, your loco cost $53 less than what it takes for me to fill a full tank of gas here.So these came yesterday and today. I mentioned about the SD-40 in the coffee shop....

Then I got another set of generators,,,,I think now I am up to about 24 of these generators. I need another 24 then that should do it I think....but maybe not. As I mentioned I am building a CAT dealership/distributor so I have a lot of CAT equipment but I wanted to get a lot of generators too. I plan on having someone make me CAT power generator boxes that I can set these in and then I will detail them up! I may even do some small trailers too.

Oh boy!! Look what came in the mail!
I saw the real 4100 and 4101 on their first run back in the 90’s. I have it on video and will be posting it soon. I put a TCS T-1 decoder in it and ran it a little. Sooooo smooth! Now I have to find the 4101!

The model is sweet too. Can’t wait to get her all together this week and see what she can do.Sure is purdy! I tell ya I never understood why Union Pacific did not buy any of the SD80MACs as they are sharp looking locomotives!
I have loved the running of every Kato locomotive I have owned over the years. While the details may not equal today’s models the running gear sure did.The model is sweet too. Can’t wait to get her all together this week and see what she can do.
