For some reason, my code 100 uncouplers don't seem to fit flush with my rails. They stick up about 1 mm higher than the rails where the couplers catch on them. According to the directions, you simply glue it to the ties. Anyone have this problem?
You may need to cut off the rail spike and tie plate details from the plastic ties.
According to the instructions, they are supposed to sit above the rails like that. All of mine do. You should get a coupler height gauge. The little shelf on the bottom will show where the magnetic pins need to be adjusted to to clear the magnet. Almost every kadee I have installed has had to have this pin adjusted up.
That's correct. The top of the magnet is supposed to sit slightly higher than the top of the rails. I don't use them myself as I cut the coupler trip pins off. I do the uncoupling with a small flat tip screwdriver.

Thanks all. I thought I had bent my couplers back enough but apparently not...had to go back and bend them again. All is well!
