A few weeks ago a member here (can't remember who) posted a thread on here that had a prototype photo that featured a National Railway boxcar on a siding with long end ladders and a roofwalk on top!!!
I tried seaching but could not find it!!
Any help would be great!!!

I think I have some info on this car it is a movie star!!!! I think. Check out the movie Broken Arrow(1996) with John Travolta and Christian Slater. There is a railroad scene toward the end of this movie that has these boxcars in it and the actors are using the roofwalks and ladders!!! probably put on for the movie they just never took them off after filming
thought I would share!!!
Later,

I was wondering exactly what a roofwalk was doing on a boxcar in the present age, I thought it was illegal for RR's to have them..
That explains it!
