I've been w/out a computer since last Tues. when the DSL Modem got hit by lightning. I was supposed to get a new box in 3 days & then had to go out of town that week. So, any messages were lost in the transition of getting the new box when I got back in town today. Jason, did you get your stuff I sent(2 boxes)?
Larry
A long, loooong time ago, I had a Commodore 128 (any old guys besides me remember those?) get wiped out when lighting hit a power box outside the apartment complex I was living in at the time.
Now I have the computer equipment plugged into a power supply/surge protector, which it self is plugged into a power strip/surge protector. Ant time we see lightning, we shut down the computer. Glad to hear you got yours fixed!

Remember it! I remember the Osborne System One! That came out before the Commodore Vic-20.
Sorry, guys, but with a father who was employed by IBM, we had NONE of that other "junk", and wouldn't THINK of EVER owning a Apple.
And so many un-IBM people thought the Radio Shack TRASH-80 was so great!
I stand to inherit some nice IBM stock, so I look forward to it holding and gaining in value in the years to come!!!!
