This is… soft green ice! 😬

Did your chonies get wet, Rico, or was it someone else's truck?
Feet got wet, luckily not my chonies! 😆
Had to go back in for my food and clothes as it was going down. We think it stopped sinking when the back of the trailer hit bottom. (48’ flat deck) Had insulation and lumber up front with shingles and cinder blocks on the rear.

It looks like a White/Western Star. Did it go full Davy Jones or how did you get it out?
After this pic was taken I’m told it took a couple days for that.
I hear they floated it back up the following summer then hauled it out the next winter.
It was very late in the season and on the trip back out with some other trucks the winter road was pretty much gone, just stumps, rock, and plenty of mud!
I want to get a model and put it in a fish tank some day! Lol

While i do not collect truck models, i am a trucker and like my job. I'm also always on the lookout for any classic, or just cool looking trucks on the road. This one was caught on August 20:View attachment 203943View attachment 203944
While the cab over on August 27:View attachment 203945View attachment 203946
I can't remember the location of the conventional, but the cabover was parked in Kutztown, Pa.
Ya, some cool trucks out there. We started to see rebuilt cab-overs about 2019 more and more. Most of the time somebody took the time to do them proper. If you haven't already, hit Iowa80 truck stop as usually some great ones there.

Siddle C Cook started his haulage company. One of his two sons wanted his own company and started Elddis Caravans. ( Elddis is Siddle in reverse.) Today you can see a large fleet of Elddis trucks around the North of England. One of the vehicles is painted in Siddle C Cook colours to honour 100 years of S.C.Cs birthday. Note the vehicles registration.

Mercedes Actros😍. I only wish these were available here in the States. Scania is my very close behind second favorite.
