So I’ve been digging thru some more boxes lately and finding things that I forgot I had, one is full of various trucks, trailers, etc.
Scale model trucks are a big part of model railroading and even a hobby on its own so let’s see what you’ve got!

Here’s a couple of HO Athearn Kenworths straight out of the box, they’ll get some detailing shortly.
The trailers are by Trucks and stuff. I moved the ladders from the front to the rear, they can be found in both positions in real life. I also filed down the king pins to fit into the Athearn fifth wheels.

Those are really cool. One of my uncles is a truck driver, so I can definitely appreciate this photo.

Here’s what we call a west coast 9 axle. I combined two kits to make it. The driver is waiting for the crane to transfer the 75 ton paracentric conducer to the truck.

I hope the crane shows up soon, that forklift on the dock's not going to cut it.

That dozer is fine! I thought it was a TD-25 but noticed with that type of loader bucket it must be a different model

Dave, I found a IH site and I think its a IH 175 trackloader, TD-15 size.. The TD-25 would be about the size of a Cat D-8. Looks like a nice model.

Got to have a few trucks around the layout.
I have travelled around the North of England (as a passenger) in Archbold's vans.
Then listened to many 'driver's tales' from John Thompson. He drove for W.A. Glendinning's of Consett. A model of his wagon is the loaded flatbed.

Yes I do, off and on since ‘77, still at it part time.
I’m pretty sure you do!

Yes but retired now. 53 years, 40 hauling equipment so I HAVE to get more trucks and const equipment on my layout!

I recently picked up the Mack so mirrors and such not attached yet, great model tho!
This is practically identical to one I drove years back that ran away on me going thru Roger’s Pass!
