I saw this coming out of Winnipeg today and thought to myself “Hey I know someone that might like this!”
Could be a cool over the winter project?

Ex CN #1401. A very recent repaint. RRpicturearchives.net is still showing it in CN livery on the 19th July. They have 2 of these GMD1's on the roster. The other is #1010, also ex CN, #1435.

Nice of them to paint the reporting mark large and clear.

They do have a couple of SW's, Jerome, if you feel like going north (but not as far as Alaska). This one a GP1200RS, #1005, ex CP. The photo is from December '06, nothing newer.

And #1006, photo July '19, Says it's on the deadline

#1309 in May '06, looking very nice.

Found one of SW1200RS #1004, after rebuild. The family resemblances of the front and cab rear roofs of all these, would suggest that the London, Ontario, EMD workshops, had a hand in all of them.

I reckon the livery on #1002, looks the best. The name of the company is Cando Contracting Ltd, so it may be that the liveries have been modified to differentiate between long time leasers.
