I started my Walthers Interstate Fuel & Oil project a few days ago. I did not build the kit per instructions. So far so good I see the building wash coat was to strong. It's only an alcohol wash I'll remove and do it over. Overwise I like how it all came out. I still need to add the details, pumping house and rail car platform for unloading the oil cars.

Looking good George! Nice neat piping install!
That piping really is outstanding and adds to the model's realism. The building's wash coat looks good to me for a industrial office that isn't likely to see a hose and some soapy water. A little vegetation in and around the building and you hit it!
Are you going to add some type of loose paving material around the facility?

Installed my interstate fuel & oil project today. I added a pipe bridge and lights to the project plus a few other details. It's 95% done.

Hi George,
Did you use dowel for the piping, extra plastic from sets or something else, it looks excellent !
Thanks Mig. BigG I used what ever came with the kit plus a Walthers piping kit I bought at the same time. I made the pipe bridge from some left over bridge kits.
