I've never built an Intermountain kit before. Are they difficult to build? Time consuming? Does it require any drilling? Are the detail parts press fit or do they require gluing?

Also, I've noticed that some kits (like covered hoppers) have etched metal walkways and some have molded walkways. Is there a way to tell whether the kit has an etched metal walkway without actually seeing the walkway? (item numbers, box styles, etc?)

The one kit I have from them required a good set of sprue nippers to avoid damaging finely detailed parts, and some good adhesive. I never got around to building it, so it's still boxed up...
