I went to an estate sale with the wife yesterday. Turned out it wasn't as bad as it sounds. Seems the guy had a layout in one room of the house, and a bunch of goodies stashed away. Long story short, for $200 I managed to lay my hands on just about everything non rolling stock related.
That came out to over 500 turnouts, and a bit over 5000 track sections. Not to mention turnout controllers, switches, old dc power stations, and a bunch of other stuff. Granted, it's all brass track, but at this price I can live with running the cleaners a bit more often, hehe. Looks like I am putting in the master yard that I have been dreading hand laying after all.
