I see some members on here do the painting/assembling/detailing of models. I was just curious what those members sometimes charge? Rough estimates really. I know it could vary on model/paint/details themselves.

I charge based mostly on the model to be painted and what paint scheme. Usually around $100 for a paint/detail job.

I usually estimate double the parts when detailing, though I come down on the price a tad when you're adding more detail, having more done at once, ect.

$45 for three (3) colors & decals
$50 for four (4) colors + & decals plus cost of paint per color past 6
Additional costs as follows:
Custom decals (no white printing!) $10 per sheet
Buying the item, $cost of the item, plus $5
Minor weathering, $10 per item
Discounting:
Decals provided, -$value of decals that I'd pay from my supplier (Usually Walthers, RRtrains.com or Direct from Microscale)

It's time to act now though, as I've considered removing the cost of shipping from the quote...
