Hello,

I am building a model roller coaster (operating) and I am using HO scale model train track for the rails.

How flexible is code 83 super flextrack? I need it to be able to bend in to a 9" radius. Is this possible?

Can I bend the track up and down?

When the flextrack is bent will it retain shape?

If the code 83 super flex track isn't flexible enough is there any other flex track that can do these things?

Thanks,

Taylor

You can't bend any kind of flex track up or down. It will kink or twist to one side or the other & the ties will come loose. It's only made to curve to the sides & not even to a 9" curve.

You might bend it w/wire bender w/out the ties attached. It's going to have to be a sweeping bend. No sharp bends. Before you tare up any flex, why don't you try some sectional track!!
