Neither. The Bachmann GP9 does not have grabs at all. There aren't any dimples to add your own, so you'll need to get a drill template (BLMA makes one). They figured that people who just want to run trains in a circle wouldn't miss them, and serious modelers looking for a budget model could just add their own.
