ModelRailroadForums.com is a free

photo gallery. We cover all scales and sizes of model railroads. Online since 2002, it's one of the oldest and largest model railroad forums on the web. Whether you're a master model railroader or just getting started, you'll find something of interest here.
Since they have the same frames, I can ask two questions at once.
What is the minimum radius of the SD26 and SD35s Atlas has offered? I checked their website and couldn't find anything, a Google search gives me a bunch of irrelevant N-Scale links and a forum search found nothing. I opened one of my SD26s to see if it had something that would help, and still nothing.
Help!
They will run over an 18 but look really dumb. 22 or 24 looks good.
I've got both engines and they run fine on 22" radius curves. I have a passing siding that has 18" radius curves and they will run at the type of speeds you usually see on passing sidings but not faster. The key for both types of curves is to make sure your track is perfectly laid with no kinks or uneven spots. Either of these engines will find any bad spots on your curve right quick.

Thanks guys... I'm not looking to run them at high speeds, but I don't want them to look too silly going around the loop. "102 Realistic Track Plans" from Model Railroader has lots of interesting plans, but alot of them in the section I'm working from, are 18" min. radius curves.
