Hello from NW Florida

ModelRailroadForums.com is a free Model Railroad Discussion Forum and photo gallery. We cover all scales and sizes of model railroads. Online since 2002, it's one of the oldest and largest model railroad forums on the web. Whether you're a master model railroader or just getting started, you'll find something of interest here.

Hello all, Quick intro - I'm a novice at model railroading, have 5 thumbs on each hand, not artistic in any way, shape or form, have no wood working skills and have no idea what I'm doing.

I have however, admired model train set ups since I was a child and remember many fond hours of watching in awe a neighbors model train set travel around a huge layout in their basement.

I've even created a lousy looking O set up a few years back - nothing I'd ever admit to.

Now, I have some time on my hands and have started a new project which will hopefully be better than my lousy O set up.

I look forward to learning as much as possible from the many experts here.

Welcome to the forum. Got any photos to share of your new project?

Hi Zoegraf,

No pictures yet, I'm still in the planning stages and waiting for some HO track and a modular scenic kit to arrive.

Once that stuff gets here I thought I'd start a thread for my project and get some feedback, criticism and advice from those willing to share.

Cool. Look forward to that.

Cheers.
