Hard to believe but true

Not exactly train related but I had to share.

My son just called. He stopped at a Wendy's drive through. His bill was $10.07. He gave $20.07.
Took 2 people and a calculator before they figured his change was $10.00.

A similar situation I has a purchase of $11.00 and gave them $21 so I would save them some dollar bills and give me a ten back. After the ten second pause I said I need a $10 bill back.

Occasionally I'll ask a cashier for change for a $20. I'll tell em I just need a 10, two 5s and four 1s and keep one for yourself. Just about every time they'll do just that.
