Maytag "Danged Agitator"
Cole is now an official model railroader. He received his set at 5PM fri. He was 50 hours old and his daddy is wnating to set the train up for his son. Me thinks Daddy just wants to play trains LOL LOL
 
Congrats. But, uh, you think he's ready for his first HO layout? My guess he'll soon have more fun with one of those articulated N engines. All those irregular edges are great for gumming.
 
True Chip but I have seen many children with N scale trains and the HO scale is much better for them to learn with. He will be in N-scale by the time he is 6 or 7 if I have anything to do with it. Right now he does not even care for the pacificer, he keeps pushing it out of his mouth.

Now, you have incentive to get busy on your layout. He will make a great operator when he gets older. That's what I have found with several of my grandkids. My kids weren't interested, but the grandkids are...
