Intermountain is coming out with the latest locomotives by GE the Evolution Series ES44ACs in November!

Anybody interested in these? I am, been waiting to hear if someone is coming out with a model of these after watching a show on Discovery channel on the build process of these locomotives.

They are also offering a DCC with Sound version with Tsunami decoder! Oh ya baby!

I already preordered 6 of them from intermountain. LOL I ordered them without sound as $108 vs $156 per unit times 6 saves me some cash.

Holy cow Mark, 6 of them! Nice!

They should be some really fine locos. And let's all hope they don't get delayed.
 
Ya 2 UP 2 CSX and 1 each of the GE Demos a DC and AC version. I will use the UP locos to model the UP/CSX Reefer train Q090 as they will go good with the 48 BLMA reefers I have on order. As for the CSX units I will probably sell them.
 
Michael, where have you been? Did you miss this thread? :D I started it back in January and been updating as the delays in production have been announced

I now have 8 ES44AC's and 9 ES44DC's on order, all with DCC/SOUND for my personal collection. I was going to get the GE Demos as well, but decided not to. Im not sure how many I have on reservation for others, would have to count lol All I know is that ALOT of people are anxiously awaiting these locomotives, if only they would stop being delayed time after time after time again! :(

I did see that thread. But anyways, can you order me 2 of the BNSF ES44AC's with sound?
 


Can't wait to see some pics of the ES44AC's when they come out. I can't wait to get my CSX and NS ES44DC's!
 
I had bought a T55 BNSF ES44DC and loved it right up to the point of the worm gear splitting.

However, I suppose all is well, as I won't allow anything that says BNSF in my train box!

Is there any actual pictures of these ES44's, or are they all drawings? I'd like to see a progress shot like Athearn did with their ACe's
 
yeah i can't wait myself for the es44ac i got one preordered from intermountain for a canadian pacific with dcc/sound, so im looking foward to them i did see a pic in the model raiload news magazine and it looks like a very nice engine.
