Just bought an Atlas gold series HO engine. My question is, does anybody have a good way to install the front and rear railings "grab irons" without breaking them in the process? My 50+ year old eyes are having a hard time.:o

Thanx gents!

I faced exactly the same vision situation...

...and a six dollar 5 inch hands free magnifier on a stand with a little old flexible neck light solved it. :)

Thanx Toot and Big D. I was trying to use a hand held magnifier glass. Problem was I needed another hand and a light.

One of the best investments I made was a clamp on magnifier with built in light. It will pay for itself quickly in reducing frustration alone, and speed up most projects.

Thanx Ham, I may have to look online as we "lost" most of our indy hobby stores around here. Most buy online now I guess.

The lighted magnifiers are great! I love mine, but my 49 year old fingers even have a problem with tweezers. The solution? Medical forceps! They get the fingers out of your line of sight to improve your vision, plus grip better than my fingers do.:D
