Anyone got experience with the Factory Direct Trains Trackmobile? Itd be pretty much perfect for the lumber mill on my future layout
Yepper, got 2 of the little buggers here. Run like little demons and are very detailed.
I HATE when I have to run those things at work, but, the FDT models look really sharp and I appreciate the review. One of my clients uses one of the big ones, so I'd like to have one with an LPG tank to go in my display case in my office.
They are very nice models. It is high on my want list, just hav enot had the extra money to get one.

i have one runs and looks really good. fdt was running a sale on them.
They run nice, but why did they mold on the other coupler? I want to use both of them
The Trackmobiles are being re-released by BLI through FDT.
I plan to order one.
Very nice looking pieces. I'll have to pick one up when I got the money.
Modelers also use trackmobiles for small switching layouts...
Small Layout Scrapbook even had a Trackmobile layout design contest.
I have a friend who have one, and its a really good puller, move around 4-5 cars with no problem
Don't mean to hijack the thread, but could someone give me the length of this little guy? I have a very tight spot on my layout and would like to see if it and a car could fit. I went to FDT website with hopes of purchasing but with delivery not until March and an $80 price tag (I am only DC at this point)I am going to have to keep on looking on ebay. Thanks and have a merry Christmas!
