Hi everyone,
Feel free to participate in this poll. Just wondering "what your favorite Era to Model was?"

Thanks,
Chris Moore

I voted for "other", since I model an extended-life traction era. I almost voted for the "transition era", since that is the time frame in which I operate. I try (but don't always succeed) to keep to the late 20's to early 40's. In addition to my traction equipment, I have a fleet of Alco RS1-2-3's, and a few steam locomotives. I love the early Alco's, so occasionally, the layout allows trackage rights to the CNW, CB&Q, IC, and Milwaukee, just so I can run the Alco's.

Well I voted Transition, although that may be a little off the mark. My setting is late 70's, which I wouldn't call modern, but remember deiselization came much later in Canada than it did in the States. Alco's did well in Canada and Alcos are my main power. That time period pretty well excludes steam, but what the heck it's my railroad and once in awhile I'll want to see those siderods and valve gear doing their stuff.
