HO all the way!
Hey gang, I am working on a few and thought I might start a thread for anybody else to post pics of what they have in the way of extensively detailed loco's and cars! I would really like to see some fictional roads as well!!

I don't know if this car would be considered extensively detailed.

It is an Accurail with with details carved off and replaced by brass. I had to add a brace to make it prototypical.

This is the latest loco that I have acquired. The roof hatches open and the cab's doors. Also the water hatch on the tender.

This is the only fictional car I have. It is an Accurail. I haven't carved off the ladder yet, but have replaced the stirrups with brass. It represents a private car owned by Dominion Nail Works.

This is a Proto RDC3. I added marker lights, proper horns, and a number board and whatever those things are called that you climb on to get to the roof.
I don't really care for the model; it stills appears toyish to me. I hope Rapido will make one some day.

My favourite detailed kit of all time so much so I bought another one that is currently in storage.

On this crane I made a rolled up tarp for the cab and added the chains.

On this loco, I carved off the third lights off the cab, filled the holes and painted them. I added a Sinclair antenna, relocated the horns, and put proper pilots on them. Just have to add a bell and an ACI plate.

WOW!! Now this the kinda stuff I was hoping would be posted! The 2 bay hopper in the first pic looks great!! Very realistic!! Keep em comin...

Here are some units I was working on previously. They are currently on hold as I have some other projects to catch up on. At least you get the idea of what I am doing to them detail wise. Not sure if you would call this SUPER detailing or just adding a few details, LOL.

I'm gonna run out, but thanks.

This is one of two American cars that I have.
My friend hand painted it and added brass details. He convinced me that I need some foreign cars on my layout.

This is a boxcar a friend built for me. It is built mostly from scratch.
I love the undercarriage detail.

One of my favourite locos in my collection. Lots of detail, but came with one error - the herald was misplaced on the tender; will have to get it repainted and decaled some day. Damn those brass model makers.

MGWSY - Nice lookin fleet you have there! Where did you get the coupler cut levers from? I would consider those superdetailed because how may others do ya see that have the traction motor cables?? Nice job!!
