event actuated shuttle

good evening all,
any suggestions on how to accomplish this?
on an event (locomotive pasing) i want a second drive unit to shuttle once with a 10 to 20 second delay at far end, then reset until next event.
i've browsed until i'm blue!

That sounds like something you might be able to get JMRI to do, if you are using DCC.
