down loadable buildings

ModelRailroadForums.com is a free Model Railroad Discussion Forum and photo gallery. We cover all scales and sizes of model railroads. Online since 2002, it's one of the oldest and largest model railroad forums on the web. Whether you're a master model railroader or just getting started, you'll find something of interest here.

I have used several "freebies" from different websites. Most sites only offer them free for a limited time. One site that is free all the time is the Illinois State Preservation Agency. They have dozens of buildings, primarily historic, All in PDF format ranging from 2 - 41 pages; complete with instructions. Pretty nice buildings.

I print mine on 65# paper instead of gluing to cardboard, easier to use. Most of the ones I have used are not in the forefront, but are completely assembled and used behind other scenery items or buildings.
