Hi,
I'm looking for back drop / divider pictures. Most of the time people zoom in on a scene and show the back drop hills or sky. I'm looking for zoomed out pictures that show how the backdrop is integrated into the layout.

Here's an example:

If anyone can post some pics, that would be helpful. I'm looking to divide my layout but want to see some options before I build it.

Thanks,
Doug

I used 1/4" hardboard as a scene seperator. It's held in place with the 3/4" plywood strips that I use for framing as seen in the third photo.
Works good so far, there's now scenery placed against it as well as the buildings at the pulp mill.

Same as Rico. With one exception: The hardboard is "sandwiched" or "squeezed" in the middle
by the foam (pink stuff). I made a slot and I just drop the hardboard into place. Handy for
cleaning the layout and painting the backdrop (when the time comes).
But that's just me:o

Rico, that's a very sweet set-up you have! Your layout room is nicely done too: What looks
like fresh paint, good lighting, clean, organized and tidy area. Very inviting, very cozy. Well done

Awe shucks, thanx! It's much better now with the skirting in place and some clutter gone. Soon I'll have the ceileing hung and pot lights in place, can't wait!

It will look great Rico.

Thanks for the opportunity to see your layout room and layout too. How's that progressing? Winter weather not there yet right? As soon as it does I'll be moving on to higher gear, so to speak...
