Demonstrator engines


I have had several Demonstrators over the years, including a custom painted Athearn GP35. Eventually, all got repainted into regular livery, or were traded/sold (much as the prototypes were).
My current fleet's non-railroad-painted units consist of a CEFX AC4400CW, and a custom-painted EMDX rent-a-wreck. There is also a pair of CSX SD70M's that are former EMD Demo units, but painted in regular dark blue paint now.

I have a SD60 from Oakway Leasing that says EMD. Newb ? I guess. Is that a demo ? and What time period was that engine run and are they still ??
 
The Oakway SD60's are not technically demonstrators, but rather lessors. They still operate in a similar paint as demonstrators though. They're still around now, pretty much 90's on.
