Are there any pictures on here showing a good place to put the controls and switch boxes? In the layout book I have, the track plans don't show where to put the controls. I'd probably not want them sitting on the table, but is there another place to put them?

Where do you all put the controls and switch boxes? Learning, learning, learning! :o

I've put mine separately from my layout table, but a friend of mine, has all his controls underneath his layout & use a walkabout controller, which is always handy ;)

A small shelf helps. Lots of controls can be mounted on the layout edge. I have these little panels scattered all over the layout.

This is still work in progress. Switch & block controls on panels that will have fascia surrounding them. The shelf holds power packs until I put walk around ports in.

This is somewhat temporary. The block controls will eventually become DCC power districts that can be switch off for fault isolation.
