Hi there I'm having issues with my controller the green light keeps flickering and it keeps slowing down my locomotive every once in a while what can I do to fix it thankyou.

We'll need a bit more info, what type of controller, how old it is, how your track is connected, what type of loco, what scale, etc.

I believe it's a tech 2 the brand of controller but it only flickers when I'm running my varney 0-4-0 but my other 2 switchers and both f7a&b's don't make it flicker

Or dirty track or even loose rail joiners.

Just a thought, your Varey 0-4-0 make just be losing contact with the rails due to its short wheel base since your other locomotive don't appear to have the same problem. A 0-4-0 is very short wheel and is likely to be subject to losing contact.
