Building my first n scale layout

ModelRailroadForums.com is a free Model Railroad Discussion Forum and photo gallery. We cover all scales and sizes of model railroads. I just noticed a bundle of n scale flex track mixed in with the HO lot I just bought. It's a start and has me thinking.

When you first move to a smaller scale, that scale is going to seem very small and too hard to work with, fiddly and frustrating compared to the scale you have been accustomed to. N Scale is fun and you can do so much more with it. All I am saying is IF you do decide to give N Scale a try, don't be put of by it's smaller size, give yourself some time to adjust and you maybe surprised by what you can do. :)

Hmm, I will concede that coupling and uncoupling can place be a bit of a strain on the "blood pressure" from time to time; however, unless you are into shunting/switching ops - how often do you really couple/uncouple cars once you have made a train up? ;)
