I'm painting up some small metal detailing parts (grabs, lift rings, mu cables, sunshades etc) which are made with wire, brass or pewter). When wrestling with one of the wire items, the Tamiya acrylic paint I'd applied pretty much flaked off. Is there a good brush-on acrylic primer most recommend for small paint jobs such as these?
