I bought a Broadway Limited blueline SD-40 2. When I tried to install a Lenz Silver wire harness decoder it seems not to fit. Has any one had a similar problem. The space above the sound board is smaller than I planned on.

That's why I really hate those BL engines with the separate sound decoders. They take up room that could handle both sound and motor control if you were using a Tsunami. My one Blueline engine used an NCE decoder that just fits the available space in an E-7. Give Tony's a call. I know they have dealt with the SD40-2 issue before.
Jim I’ll have to call Tony. I can see it maybe fitting into to an E-7 but SD-40 no. I think I’ll have to order a Lenz Direct type decoder from Tony.
