This a modified Thomas Brothers all metal kit! I threw away all of the parts except the tank, ends and manway cover. I used a shortened Athearn 40' tank car frame. I fully plumbed it and added end steps and grabs. I made and installed coupler cut levers and air hoses. The little lady needed a bit of touch up paint. I added turnbuckles and clean out plugs to the tank. A new safety rail, ladders and hand brake were added! I cut the manway cover from the top platform and scratched a new platform. BTW, the Athearn car isn't even close, although it looks great!
