In terms of using those as backdrops, none of those would fit my city layout.
But they are all awesome photos.

I started painting my backdrop , check "first timer wenna... on the Ho scale page.

for the clouds try a dark grey on bottom white on top and blend with a dry brush looks great if done right

That is some very nice use of atmospheric perspective, with the land getting more and more bluish off in the distance. And the clouds!!!
