I have searched around but haven't found any specific info on what decoder people have used to convert the Bachmann GE 44 tonners , anybody ? Which decoder fits best ?
Digitrax - DH163PS
TCS - MC2P-MH
Those 2 should work but I have not confirmed this...

I'm using digitrax DZ123 in mine.
I forgot about the DZ123, that's what we recommend for a good amount of engines...
The DZ123 is sort of the "all-purpose" decoder that works in almost everything. The only issue is if it's the twin motor 44 tonner. You'd need to wire both motors in series and the amount of space is just a little too small for a DZ123 to comfortably fit. The DH163PS would do a better job in that situation.
