A layout is only interesting or boring as the builder makes it; be it large or small.
When building a layout I made a list of what must be on it
It must be entertaining for my grandchildren.
It must be able to be operated by one, two or three people
All in a space of 11ft x 8ft.
We do not run long trains; two or three cars only in length.
We keep it fun. Keep it fun and the grandchildren return time and again.
