Hi all. These are pics a friend took during a recent trip to Italy. Obviously, this is a switcher, but does anyone have any specifics concerning it? It looks like a diesel with the running gear of a steamer.

Either way, it's a cool little whatever.

Eric,
There's a guy on the "big forum" who goes by the name
Railroading_Brit, he could definitely answer your question; in fact I believe he even has a Maerklin [or Trix?] model of that switcher. Post your question over there and I bet you'll have an answer pretty quick!
