I recently picked this pair at the Amherst show this weekend. They are build by Dave Barlow from Perkins Road Depot in NH for Mike Confalone's new railroad The Allagash Railway. For those that might know the name he also owned the Woodsville Terminal that is now no longer, he is also the owner/publisher for
railroad explorer. the cars are based off the bowser 3 bay coal cars. I'm probably going to have a few built for my road here shortly.
I saw those cars and contemplated buying them, then got distracted

lol, my dad and I are good friends with Dave Barlow, the builder of the cars and we knew he was going to have some of the Allagash stuff there so we picked up 3 cars for now.
That's a nice looking pair of cars Drew. Looks like Mr. Barlow does some nice building.
the third car in the last photo is also on of his, BAR woodchip cars they built out of 40ft box cars
I added another Allagash car to the roster today hope to get photos of it tomorrow.
