Went to a show this weekend, nothing real big but i enjoyed it. Got a Load of stuff. Just off the top of my head a UP GP7/9 dont recall which, a bunch of UP passenger cars, 2 sets of spine cars and a set of well cars, a few more
89' flats & a bunch of other odds n ends parts engines, ect... (cheap stuff)

but my main purchace which is my first major engine purchace

A Athearn RTR AC4400 U.P. (ill be adding a few more of these to the fleet, & now to get a decoder put in this unit.

I do have a few other RTR locos that ive built from parts units. All I can say is wow this thing is gorgeous!!!!

Once I get the rest of my current UP fleet projects done ill try to get pics posted of them.

The one thing i wanted at the show woulda cost as much as everything i bought that say, I dont remeber what brand it was but it was a UP challenger now that was a beutifull unit there.

Well heres a few pics of the new engine.

ahhhh a flag unit, nothing better then seeing a UP loco with the flags on it, beautiful loco stang!! Nice pickup :D

Was there an air freshener dangling in the front cab window with that new locomotive smell??? Looks like a great addition to the fleet Stang.

thanks guys, im in love with this thing, i wasnt gonna buy it but the G/F seen it and liked it because its like the ones that go by our house every 5 minutes. So she said i should get it.

So me being cheap said no, but i ended up getting it right before we left. Now to get a few more.

That is one of the nicer paint schemes Athearn has done. I still can't get used to UP units without silver trucks though. :(
