I know its not prototypical but I have a good number of steam engines, AND a container port on my upper level as well as one on my lower deck of my dbl-deck layout.

What do you think,...will I be pulling containerize freight with some steam engines,...you betcha....

Real Steam power in modern revenue service, must have been a while ago! And no diesel safety blankets.. Wonder if the Big Boy will ever have that level of trust

This was "arranged behind the scenes" by the head of the UP steam program and some PR people in the railroad. When the stack train showed up, the engines "had" to be taken off, and there just happened to be no other power available. Up pops Steve Lee, who just happened to need to ferry the 3985.

I've pulled US freight cars with UK steam, so go for it.
