Just a little Chalk Weathering I did on this way too much shine auto rack so how did I do? let me see some of your Chalk Weathering.

Hi Kevin, Your weathering looks very good, but I don't know what happened on the side where it looks like some Taggers wiped out over sprayed the word Pacific. I hope Warren Buffet doesn't see that!
Actually it made me reflect on how I did some on my weathering, as crude as it is. A guy could possibly use some removable transparent tape with an irregular cut edge to stick over wording like Pacific to preserve it and paint on it. I guess there might be other suitable material too?
It's very evident between the two Loco trucks that some chalk sure makes it look a lot more realistic compared to the shinny look.
I think you did fine. I go over mine after I am done with a little dusty brown looking chalk. I am a noob at this whole vehicle weathering thing though. But here is my latest chalk jobs:
