More progress on my 3D caboose project. More railing and grab irons to install plus the coupler and air hose.

Thanks PRR. I got some ideas from a few cabooses I looked at. I tried to do a full striped version but there was too much bleeding of the stripes so I when with the CR caboose model, I had. I liked the railing on the PVR caboose so I'm going with that for my railings style. The PVR caboose also has the rear end light so I'm also going with that.

Yes kjd. but I use screws to fasten everything, so it all comes apart. I finished a lot of the hand brake. I ran out of 1X2's so the left side of the brake will have to wait. I need a chain and a few other small details to finish up the brake. I still need to finish up the railing a grab irons. That will be tomorrow's project.

It just remined me of the story about the guy that built a Countach in his basement then knocked a big hole in the wall to get it out. A caboose would take a much bigger hole.

Except for the airline hose end and maybe some LEDs for the end of train light, the project is over. Back to the layout for the next few months.
