When I was 14 my father to told me don't borrow any money from the bank and don't play the horses. I listened to the first piece of advice but not the second and I'm not broke yet but I refuse to bet on cat races, Swal

This is the second time the USPS has seemed to lose another order this time from Walmart that was last seen only about 50 miles from here about 5 weeks ago and is now lost somewhere in the postal system. Two in a row for them. The first being from Ebay. I guess I have to get a refund from...

My new computer with Windows 11 pro loaded on it, the better choice than the Home edition for security, came 2 days ago. I was very concerned about Windows 10 security updates no longer supported by Microsoft in October. As I said in another post about my bank accounts being hacked into about 10...

Martin you might be right it's been so long since I made the stop, but the photo below shows it was just a sidewalk and a big drop-off for a passenger to step down from. The people would come up from the city visit their deceased loved ones and catch the next train back to the city. The train...

I come across this on Facebook. This particular train was passing by the Valhalla cemetery on Harlem Line but on Saturdays and Sundays it was a station stop that I made many times while on the railroad. The platform for the stop was only 4 ft wide. Swal

Yesterday USPS said my order that has been in some warehouse only 50 miles from here for 5 weeks will be delivered today before 8pm. So I'm waiting all day for it to show up and at 8pm they said the order has been delayed. This is the 2nd order in a row that I'll never receive. I hope HP...

Gave a bank check to the Funeral Home yesterday for $10,705.00 to cover the cost of the funeral when I pass on whenever that maybe. I didn't want my brother or sister have to go through any type of financial burden when that should happen. Hopefully it will be years from now. Swal

I ended up ordering a HP with 16MB Ram and Windows 11 pro. which brought the price up to $731.00. I already had Windows 10 Pro so I wanted the Windows 11 Pro. it was $80 more for the Pro vs the home. I thought the 16 MB ram would speed up the updates which seem to take forever. Swal

I'm doing this for one reason. I had my identify stolen in Hollywood FL about 12 years ago and it was a big pain to get everything back to normal. I want to make sure I have all the security updates Windows11 offers. Swal

Hughie I was just looking at Dell computers and the only ones that have a 5 star rating are the All In Ones? All the rest have 4 star rating. Swal

I went over to Walmart's before golf today to look at a computer. I found out some things I didn't know. They only had 2 desktops in stock both were HP's Windows 11 all in one S's. I asked how easy it was to add some Ram if I wanted to. He told me all in ones are very hard to add Ram to. Then...
