Coke quenching in action

A huge cloud of steam rises skyward as thousands of gallons of water rains down upon freshly-baked, 2000-F coke. The Iron Belt Railway (now a subdivision of CSX) transports the raw coal from mines in West Virginia to this Lake Erie steel mill; ore and limestone, the other two key ingredients in pig iron, are received by ship. The rotary dumper is visible at the left.
Man Ken, Impressive! I like the rolling stock in the FAR distance too, makes the depth of the scene more interesting. Love that beat up hopper too!
