Yes, They pumped all of the fuel out w/a pump & the car collapsed. It was on the Science Channel a cpl. years ago.
 
well it happens when the water or fuel in the car expands to steam but as the car cools(note the rainy weather) and the steam excape's the air try to re-fill the car and air and gravity make's it collapsed or it's known as anticipatory activity.

They are both Athearn Ready to Roll models that I painted up. I still have one more of the light blue ones to finish. MRL actually had 3 light blue units but I am only modeling two of them. Now all three of those units are painted in the dark blue MRL colors.
