The Great Wall is done! And in front of it, the Great Weed Patch! They are 17ft 5in long. The second picture shows the pull-out workbench all covered with junk, but it also shows most of the length of--The Great Wall. And Weed Patch.

what brand are these track ? their ties are so large ! i love it ! fasttrack handlaid ?

Handlaid, but not with Fasttrack. I'm not sure what you mean by "Ties so large". They're made from 3/32 x 1/16 stripwood. That's, umm, 2.38 x 1.59mm.

Corey, that's a great looking station. I think it's the same one Bernie has, only he has passenger shed between the double tracks.

Joh, I was wondering how work was coming. That was a lot of work getting that much wall up and landscaped. It turned out really nice. I think Julien meant that the ties extend beyond the rails more prototypically than most RTR track. He's not a native English speaker, so he sometimes struggles for the right word in English, but I'm sure it was meant as a compliment. :)

Corey, is that station built from a kit or is it a scratch build job? I have been in the market for a large station like that. Very nice.

NW. no problem, once it's painted, no one will ever know waht the car was before the paint job. It looks like you've done some pretty vigorous sanding on the side to remove the road name. You might want to try some 70% isopropyl alcohol to remove the lettering. It won't leave all those sanding marks behind.

Thanks for the tip!

Heres a few of mine for this week. A couple pics of my favorites

Chris, that's too bad. I just sold my second kit yesterday. I had bought two in order to make the CNW depot in Mankato MN. I later decided that the one kit would be just fine. It's a Walthers City Station. http://www.walthers.com/exec/productinfo/933-2904 You can find them on EBAY for around thirty to forty dollars.

Cool. I actually searched Walthers last night after posting this and found that. I plan to get ahold of a train store that is down the road from me and see if they have it. Walthers shows they have recieved in the past and ill call down there and check that out first.

Hi folks! Some more great looking work from everyone. I spent part of the day on my about yearly trek to the Naperville Il. Train Show. Picked up some Atlas Trainmaster RTR cars and a weathered Athearn CNW Geep (50?) - for a train guy I really don't know my equipment. So I'm showing off trains today instead of my usual structures and cityscape. It's not anywhere near some of yours, but here it is.

Gary. good minds think alike. I had my CNW stuff out today at the club.

Alco S1 - #1254 and 1227

also found a place to put that old b model mack with the flashing roof light

I grew up in chicago and remember as far back as seeing F7 used in commuter and every now and then on freight. GP7/9s , SD45,SD45-2 were all the norm. every siding had CNW cars in the colorfull green and yellows. those days are gone....

Great work here as always! I have been finishing the last of my Ticky Train Group Flat Cars as I have had time during a very busy week. Here they are fresh from decaling and painting. Loads and weathering yet to come......
